SF Vet Hospital is a family-owned veterinary clinic located at 2001 Harrison Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. We serve dogs and cats across the Mission District, Potrero Hill, and the broader Bay Area, providing wellness exams, dental care, surgery, diagnostics, and same-day urgent care & emergencies. SF Vet Hospital is licensed by the California Veterinary Medical Board and is a separate practice from San Francisco Pet Hospital in NOPA and from SF Veterinary Housecalls.

We have served the Golden Gate City since 2024 with a simple commitment: friendly, transparent, locally owned care that fits real San Francisco lives. Our doors are open seven days a week for routine visits and same-day urgent care & emergencies  with transparent pricing posted on our website and bilingual Spanish support for Mission District families. Our owner, Dr. Rajvinder Gill, brings more than 19 years of veterinary experience and an active role in wildlife rescue and disaster relief. For advanced surgical cases, board-certified surgeon Dr. Hani M. Korani (DACVS-SA) operates on-site through our visiting surgeon program.

Dr. Rajvinder Gill, DVM

Dr. Gill brings more than 19 years of veterinary experience across India, Denmark, Australia, and the United States. He earned his DVM in India and obtained US accreditation through the ECFVG program at Mississippi State University. Dr. Gill has an interest in geriatric pet care, soft tissue surgery, and managing complex medical cases, and is actively involved in wildlife rescue and disaster relief efforts.

Dr. Hani M. Korani, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Korani is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in Small Animal Surgery (DACVS-SA). He earned his DVM at Cairo University, completed a rotating internship at Tuskegee University, and finished a three-year surgical residency at North Carolina State University. He performs advanced orthopedic, soft tissue, neurological, and oncologic surgery at SF Vet Hospital through our visiting surgeon program.

SF Vet Hospital sees both urgent and emergency cases during clinic hours, seven days a week. For overnight or critical situations outside our hours, we coordinate with our 24-hour emergency referral partner, SAGE Veterinary Centers – San Francisco
